golf clubs–TaylorMade R11 Driver

The  R11 Driver is the ultimate driver for adjustability. It may not have as many loft/ lie combinations as some of the other drivers out there, but it has more variables to adjust, including heel and toe weighting for a neutral, fade, or draw bias and an adjustable sole plate for the open, neutral, or closed look. TaylorMade claims 100 yards of left to right adjustability.

When you address the ball, you’ll notice how easy it is to tell at address if the clubface is open or closed. The black clubface also provides a lot of contrast making it super easy to aim the R11 at your intended target. To be honest, I thought aesthetically a white driver is cool, but not very practical and just some marketing gimmick to sell more wholesale golf clubs.

The Taylormade R11 Irons feature variable face thickness. Starting with 2.0mm thick face in the long irons to 2.3mm in the mid irons and 2.5mm in the short irons for enhanced feel. An Optimized Inverted Cone that brings a larger COR area and improved control over your shot distance.

Taylormade utilizes its inverted cone technology to expand the sweet area reducing overall loss on off center hits. The multifunctional sole is versatile and made to excel in any lie. The new R11 irons has traditional lofts with a 27.5* 5 iron and is considered between mid and compact size with less offset. The new grooves are USGA/R&A Conforming.
